The Taverners

Welcome to another fun packed cricketing season with the Taverners.

The 2022 season was unprecedented, with twenty two games being played, none lost to the weather and due to the generosity of the local teams who played against the Tavs, close to £10K raised towards our charitable work. Under the excellent stewardship of captain Mark Varley & the support of everybody connected to the Taverners, the season was a huge success. We are so fortunate to be a part of such a community thinking club & would encourage anybody who wants to play or just be part of the fun to come & join us on a Thursday evening between May to early September, you would feel very welcome.

Good luck to this year’s skipper Jon Close and I know we will have another entertaining year on the pitch and importantly continue to put on the charitable events for Knutsford most senior citizens.
